So, ya think yer good with your pistol, punching 2 inch groups at 25 yards, shooting on the move, things like that. Then you'll love this little game. You'll need 3 people, a bunch of cheap soda in 2 liter bottles (the brighter the better), a carabiner, a 30 foot length of rope and a 50 foot lenght of rope.

The game goes like this. Rope gets tied to bottle, rope gets run through carabiner, carabiner gets clipped to your belt loop. (start with one bottle--when you get that nailed, then you can go to 2..

You want uneven ground. This is for 2 reasons--one, it shakes the hell outta the soda, and two, it makes the bounces unpredictable.

When the bottle is at the end of it's tether and a helper is holding the end of the line standing next to you, you start with your gun holstered and hands relaxed at your sides.

The helper says "Sic Em" and starts running away while holding the rope. The object of the game is to "kill" the bottle before it tags you in the junk. Also, the further away you kill it, the less you get covered in soda.

When you get good at killing one bottle, then you go to 2. You can set them far apart so that you have to adjust to the second target.....

Have fun, and remember, catching a coke bottle in the nuts hurts less than shooting yourself in the foot, so be aware of your muzzle and toes....

The guys who showed me the game called it "Pit Bull attack". The bottle approximates the kill zone on a dog and moves VERY quickly. If you lack a carabiner, you can just run the rope through your belt loop itself. The runner runs at a 90* angle to you. It's a very challenging game that's both fun, and is good practice for dealing with a closing threat. It's tons of fun to play and to watch....

I don't know where they got the name--in fact I've got a pair of APBT's savagely napping and snoring in a vicious fashion on the couch with me...I think it's just because it's hard to hit a small target that's moving toward you in a semi-random fashion...

And the only reason my dogs would attack would be if you had food in your pockets. Then you'd be royally fooked...
