9mm ammo is either M882 Ball or Federal HST.  Only .40 I've seen is a 180gr FMJ, white box by someone I've never heard before (don't think I wrote it down or took a pic).  Haven't seen any of the new Win 9mm JHP for the M17/18 yet.

However I've been known to turn in my G19 for a M1911A1 if given the choice!

Burris Fast Fire is Clone correct huh? That saddens me, my heart died just a little!

Well, plus side is they will warranty them even if "you" break them.

SF dude: Yeah I need to warranty my Fast Fire, I had an accident...
Burris: OK you are covered by our lifetime no questions asked warranty! Just curious, is it an electronic issue or did it get damaged?
SF dude: Roadside IED...
Burris: Um what?

How did the Burris FF end up on that one you posted? Personal purchase?

Yea I have a Doctor kicking around somewhere that is going to end up on top of an Elcan at some point and my FNX-45 Tactical has a tan MRDS on it.

So the Trijicons are not fielded officially at all?

Side note, we should turn this into an GLOCK Clone thread. I wanna clone some GLOCK's next. Way cheaper than rifles! :D

C_D, the MK27 is the GLOCK 19 Gen3 MOS right? It's not a Gen4 correct? Is it actually the MOS model or do they get cut in-house? Everything I've read makes it sound like its a factory MOS model.

Outstanding info Diver! Glocks with NSNs.....I'd trade a kidney for a Gen 3 MOS slide.

I considered the Insight MRDS but I can see it being destroyed the first time I try one handed clearing of malfunction drills.

Correct the Mk27 Mod 1 is a Gen 3 MOS which Glock made only for SOCOM.  The Mk27 Mod 2 is a Gen 4 without MOS as far as I understand the Crane parts list.

Except for the Gen 3 MOS, guns are 100% the same.  Glocks are GTG if you like Glocks.  I still prefer a 1911

Curious if the mk27 mod 2 has the taller profile sights for suppressor use or normal
Height?   Also , are they Glock or Trijicon sights?

Don't know as I haven't seen any yet but spare parts list just list the same night sights for ALL variants.  4.1mm front sights and 6.5mm rear sights.

@Combat_Diver

Without breaking OPSEC, obviously, can you tell us what purpose they found for the suppressors? Was it for taking out sentries (human or dog), taking out lights, or something else?
