Trigger pack...???

Most triggers are nothing but a bar/shoe assembly and a connector, which is easily changed with just a punch.  No need to pay anyone to do that...

As for the slide work, Jagerwerks did a awesome job on a RMR cut and cerakote job for my dad, with a fast turnaround.

It's probably not your intention but your request comes off a bit vague.

I think it would help us out if we knew what kind of work you were looking to have done.  And as TheMercenary stated Glock's don't have 'trigger packs' so to speak. Typically a trigger shoe, maybe with a trigger bar, or an aftermarket connector, or sometimes a complete trigger assembly (i.e. zev). But I think it depends on what you're looking for.

If you want one company to just go nuts on your 19 and do frame work, slide work, internals, etc then that'd be one recommendation.
If you're looking for frame work by itself, or slide work by itself, or just some parts to replace, that's another.

Glocks are great. They run like sewing machine's out of the box, and they have probably one of the biggest aftermarkets of any handgun.  I've found from my own experience that a stock Glock runs, and the more modifications you do to one the easier it is to get it not to run.

Let us know what you're hoping for and we'll try to fill in the blanks with our experience.

2 BIG Questions:

1. What are you gonna use the gun for? CCW, Nightstand, Three gun/Competition, Plinking, Safe queen/Conversation piece?

2. How much do you want to spend?

It'll be a CCW, and ( Suppressed Practice),

I see all of these Triggers, ( and yes they are not packs) from Haley, Agency Arms, Zev, Robar and others.

Just looking for a crisp break, 4.5 - 5 lbs

I want to do some lower work, Gen 4 and gen 3
Stipple
Remove / reduce the finger grooves
Probably do a RMR slide eventually.

COST
Most I've seen are $2K for the works
$1400 send your pistol and work over
$800 Lowers, with custom fitted triggers and Reduced / stippled / Mag cuts ect...
$800 slides stripped
$1200 slides equipped
$1700 slides equipped & RMR.

I don't want to spend alot of money.
I have a threaded barrel to add.

Custom Glocks are expensive.  My advice would be to do it a piece at a time.  Figure out what you want done first and go from there.

If your willing to wait a while for the fame work I would highly recommend Kent at Polymer Refined

http://www.polymerrefined.com

He is currently in the process of moving out of California and is not taking orders, but that should change once he finds a new FFL partner.

Has anyone talked to Kent recently?

the price isn't really a issue, but I don't want to spend 2k on a custom and get it  IN HAND and say wow this isn't what I wanted.

There's no place I know to go "look and see" any of the customs.
unless you know a friend who has one, is it too rough, out of balance?

This is why I was asking about the different folks, that actually have one.
I see agency Arms has a 500rd Break in procedure, then what?

I understand what you're saying.  I have a slide with jagerwerks right now and it was really hard for me to decide exactly what I wanted done.  I couldn't find a picture of the exact slide I wanted.  So it's a little bit wait and see.  I do know they do amazing work so I'm pretty comfortable.  I'm not a fan of stippling a frame so I'm not much help there.

My trigger recommendation is for the Agency drop in. I have the fitted in my full Agency 19 build, but I also have the drop-in in 2 of my other 19s and I just really like them, especially for carry since they aren't too light.

I like magwells, I run the Agency on 2 of my guns so far and I recommend them as well. Literally adds no bulk for carry considerations, and helps smooth out a rough reload every time. Also like how it helps push my pinky finger up and sets my grip in.

I have slidework done locally to me that I really like as well, done by DP Custom Works out of NC. Doug does great work, and is reasonably priced. Jagerwerks also does great stuff, they will likely get my next slide if I decide to cut it up.

As for framework, I like the stipple on my Agency. Its very similar to ZEVs work. However, I did one of my own frames in the larger "dot" looking patterns that look similar to SSVI and I think I like the texture better. Going back and forth from gun to gun, the Agency definitely feels more aggressive in the hand, almost too much so if on a longer range session.

Lots of good info hear. Ive got 4 G19s that all have mill work done and frame jobs done. Two of the 19s are Zev slides and the other two I had DP Customs do. Both did great jobs on the slide work. When it comes to slide work I think a lot of it just depends on the style you are looking for. As for frame work there are a lot of guys out there doing really good stipple work. Again it comes down to what pattern you like, undercuts, finger grooves removed or not, etc. I prefer the finger grooves and the Zev style waffle pattern. I actually started doing my own frames. Its not hard at all. Its just time consuming. When it comes to triggers I absolutely love the Agency Arms trigger and I feel it is great for CCW. In one of my Zevs I have there ultimate trigger kit and don't get me wrong it is super nice, but it is a race trigger. Super light and not what I prefer on a CCW.  I will attach some pictures to give you some ideas.

Here is my Gen4 19 with DP Customs slide and Agency Arms trigger. This is my CCW.

Here is a stipple job and undercut I did for a friend of mine.

And here is another Zev G19 with Zev trigger kit.

This is my latest slide I had DP Customs do. I haven't got around to putting it together yet.

Before you have someone stipple your firearm, you really need to go test fire a couple. Not just handle it in the store, go rent a lane and try manipulating it.

If this is a daily carry gun, I would go very easy on the mods. This opens a can of worms, but typically, if you are not accustomed to carrying and know exactly what you want differently and why you want it that way, you may be better served initially just actually carrying for awhile and then think about it.

I know, it's not as fun as buying all the barbie dream house stuff, but it is more realistic if you are serious about your responsibility carrying. Only thing I can recommend changing on a Glock, and not worry about setting off a holy war here, is the stock non-illuminated sights.

I change the sights, grind down and stipple the front strap and put an Apex trigger in.  And that's it.

I like your style sir, your ccw piece is a mirror image of mine minus the RMR. I really like the subtle DP slidework for a carry piece.
