Where on the net is a good place to get three plus+2 extentions for my new G19?

Is there anything I need to look fro when getting them?

If you put the Glock +2 on your magazines, you need to upgrade the springs too. The existing spring won't have enough push. Glockmeister sells a +2 "kit" with the correct spring included.

The other option is the one I recommend. Just use model 17 magazines. They are more reliable, don't stick out as far, AND its a lot cheaper to by a 17 magazine then a 19 magazine an upgraded spring and the +2. They don't really stick out far enough to matter, or need an extension. For CCW I carry a regular mag in the 19 and 17 mags in the pouch. Works great.

Non-Glock +2s have a bad reputation for coming off and helping you do a tactical speed unload.

As of Yesterday Cope's Distributing had NIB Glock 17 mags for $15.99. The +2 extenstion at Glockmeister runs $12 or so.

I'd just get Glock 17 mags. I have some +2 19 mags, I think 17s work just as well.

Exactly what I was going to say. While you are at it you should get a +18 extention. Oh I mean a glock 18 mag

Seriously, Lancelot has some awesome advice regarding 17 mags.  I would never trust my gun with plus twos for carry.  I used to have them on a G17 duty gun.  I pulled up on a family fight with shots fired a long time ago.  When I got out of my car, my mag snagged on the lip of my seatbelt.  All 19 rounds were quickly dumped on the pavement.  We're not talking about a ton of force that it took to pop that base plate off.

If yo go the 17 route, I believe Glockmeister also has a sleeve to go around the bottom of the 17 mag to fill in the gap.  IIRC, it's made by Pierce.

The newer + magazine extension from Glock does not pop off as easy as the original ones did. It has an insert that helps lock it into place. The newer + will add three rounds to 9mm and 2 for the .40. I have not had any problems using them for my M19 and M17 magazines. I do use the plus springs from glockmeister.com. However, I agree with using the M17 mags for your M19. If your M19 is for defense, then I would recommend sticking with the M17 mags.

A&G makes sleeves for Glock mags, but they don't make one to use G17 mags in a G19.  If Pearce makes such a sleeve, it's a recent development.
