I just got my G20(I got a deal on a black frame so the OD vote was vetoed) and the finish seems to be more rough than my 19 or 26. By rough I don't mean worse I mean more granular. Have they changed the black coating, or will this one need holster time to wear more smooth. It's a beautiful finish even if its all in my head. I haven't shot it yet and I'll try to get some pics up. EDIT  The new addition Glock 20  The family so far. Glock 26, 19, 20  Glock 19 beside 20 for comparison. I don't think the pics are that great but a good first try. |

I have 3 newer Glocks and my dad has an older model. There is a difference in the two. His has a nice smooth feel to the metal, and mine appears to have the more (granular) feel. I think I read the newer finish is supposed to resist holster wear better. Have fun with your 20. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy one yet due to the price of ammo. |
if you like the 10mm and have smaller hands take a look at the glock 29. that is what i have and it fits really nicely especially if you get the magazine extend things that let you get a full grip on it. |
It is the width and thickness of the grip that is too big. The G20 and G29 are the same size in that respect. |
