I detail stripped my G23 today and now it fails the function test.
I pull the trigger and hold it back while I cycle the action, then as I start to release the trigger the firing pin strikes or fires.  This could be very dangerous.
I've detailed stripped this gun plenty of times but I never had this problem. I've stripped it again but can not find a problem.
What did I do wrong?

ETA: Problem fixed.  Somehow when I put the firing pin safety (FPS) back in the Slide the
FPS spring fell out of the FPS and was wedged in sideways under the FPS.  Everything seemed normal until I did a function test.  Always do a function check after cleaning your guns.  This could have been dangerous if it was loaded.....AD.  Just thought I would pass it along.
This ever happen to anyone else?

Thanks

FYI:
When you install the "Firing Pin Spring" into the "Firing Pin Safety Plunger" push and turn the spring counter-clockwise and it will seat itself inside the "Safety Plunger". This will properly install the spring and hold the spring inside the plunger.
