| Does anyone know if a number 4340 ejector is still available anywhere? This is what is in my early 90's 23. I ordered a new trigger housing with ejector to have a spare, and it cam with a number 1882 ejector. This new one is significantly longer than the 4340, and as such, drags on the top round in the mag to the point that while inserting the mag slowly, you can watch the angle of the top round change as it contacts the longer ejector prior to the mag locking into place. I realize this is the current model used in the .40 caliber pistols, as a friend has a 2000 vintage 23 with this same longer ejector, but his has the angled ejection port. So I would really like to get a shorter 4340 if it's at all possible. I have not been abet to locate one though. |
