I know I'm slacking here, but I bought my first glock in February and have yet to shoot it Kind of irrelevant, but hoping if I se myself typing that it will make me get out & shoot it! Anyway, It is my understanding that the metal piece at the rear of the ejector is a loaded chamber indicator? Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it would be my impression that it should compress when a round is chambered. There is no difference in it when a round is chambered or not, is this something that should be fixed or do I have inaccurate information? How is it a loaded chamber indicator if it does not indicate? Kinda goin nuts here over it.

Edited to add: Get to the damn range and shoot!!!!

IMHO, the Glock LCI is useless, so ignore it. Don't get me wrong, I love Glocks and have 4 of them, but the LCI is useless.

LCI from back:

LCI from top:

LCI from side:

No LCI:

Got it. Those pics cleared it up for me, I was looking at the wrong part. Knowing what I do now, I'm gonna have to say the LCI on ths piece will be useless for me. I like it on my XD9, not on ths g27. Thanks for the clarification

I've never looked at my loaded chamber indicator in any of my glocks ever
