[ARCHIVED THREAD] - G29 Recoil Spring Question.

I would like to upgrade my G29 to a steel non-captured guide rod and a seperate recoil spring. I have check the usual online vendors and nobody seems to carry those seperate items. My G20 was a piece of cake to upgrade. I'm guessing that the compact models need a different captured system. If true, so how do you upgrade the spring weight?

Double tap ammo sells them. That's where I bought my non captured Wolf for my G29...
