Since I've now got a pair of G19's and a G17, I'm thinking of adding a G34 to the stable.

I don't necessarily need a full G34, so thinking of building a G34 upper.

So makes a good quality Gen4 G34 upper I could build up?

I say just find a used G34 and buy it that is what I did.  The G34 is my favorite Glock only beats the G17 because it looks totally bad ass.

Buy the whole gun. Uppers, even factory ones are stupid expensive now with the 80% guys grabbing them and lone wolf has zero stock.

As others have said I would just get the whole gun. Uppers are overpriced and you can have the whole gun for not much more.

Do you intend to build it into a "space glock" or just wanting something stock?

If you want something stock then just buy a G34 (not the upper the gun).  If you're gonna space gun it out then build an upper

I was in the same boat, except I have a 35 also.

I found some Zev 35 to 34 conversion barrels, but waited too long and now the are all gone.

Tossed the idea of a upper, but they were going for as much as a whole gun. I lucked out and bought a very clean Gen 3 34 for $425

Now I have a RTF2 Grey 34

you will be better in buying a complete 34 instead of a 34 slide due to they cost so much over $400 for a stock 34 slide. you can buy a new glock 34 for $500 for the blue label or the gssf membership. I been thinking about buying a 34 slide for my 35 but the slides cost so much and just for $100 more I can buy a complete handgun.
