| Is the G 36 the odd man out bastardized child? Why do I find myself wanting one? Anybody got one? |
|
Took mine to the range today. Managed to pretty much keep all shots on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper at 20 yards. No malfunctions in 15 years, except once when I added +1 magazine adapters; a plan I quickly abandoned. G36 is easier to conceal than a G19.
I wish someone would produce a 10 round "back up" magazine for me to carry with it. |

I've never had a overwhelming desire to have any of the single stack pistols. I like the fact that with double stacks,
I can interchange mags. I may get a 43/36 at some point. I do have a 30g4, so I never had the desire to get the 30S. I may get one of those prior to the single stacks. But, I don't carry .45's. Use to long ago. I even bought a couple .357's (31/33) but, quickly figured out I like 9mm's, .45's and 10mm's. I thought I would like .357 over .40. Nope. Single stacks, meh. I'll take a 26 over a 43 and the 30g4 over 36. |

I enjoyed mine for the 6 years I carried it. I too found that the 36 is easier to conceal than the 19. I don't have the 36 no more but I did feel that it was the odd man out. Most of Glock parts are not interchangeable with the 36 and the sights are not like most others as well. The recoil was more than what I'm used to, but that is what's expected with a compact .45
I need a .45 in the size of a 19/23. |
