G43 Questions > Glock

So I have an XDS which is normally what I carry. And I also have a G42 that I carry when I need something smaller. Is there any reason to entertain the thought of getting a G43 other than to buy another gun?

I just held a g43 today and felt the trigger and I think it is better than a stock XDs trigger. FWIW.

That's a question only you can answer. If you are happy with those two and they fill your niche of guns then I wouldn't bother with the 43.

+1. Now in my case, I wouldn't feel that comfortable carrying a 380 so I'd want to upgrade the 42 to a 43 and if the 43 shot well for me, I can't think of any reason why I'd need or want both the 43 and the XDS? On the other hand, the 43 doesn't really offer anything over the XDS so if you already have and like XDS, I can't think of any reason to bother with the 43?

The 42 is just such a NICE shooting gun that it was hard for me to sell. But I had to to afford a G43. I'll let you know how it feels after I shoot it.

Only reason I'm selling my 42 and switching to 43 is to have a consistent ammo base . I have the glock 26 and glock 17 so I want to stay with 9mm

I just sold my XDS 45 to get the glock 43. The xds was my only 45, and the price of 45 ammo discourages me from shooting it. Sold it for $500 and bought the G43 for $358.

Went ahead and picked it up today. the 43 and XDS are very close in size. I'd have to give the edge to the XDS purely based on capacity.
Will be better able to judge after I put some rounds down range.

Will more than likely pick up a +1 & +2 from Taran Tactical.

Would you be able to post some comparison pics of the XDS and the G43?

I bought a G43 but was going to get the XDS, interested in size differences.

I have bunch of small guns so I ordered G17 NiB-X. I don't like the mushiness of the trigger on G43
