My dealer has a Glock 20 that has been in his cabinet for several months now.  I've been tempted to adopt this orphan but the 10mmo is somewhat scarce and costly.  If anyone here has one and knows a source of decent range ammo I'd love to hear from you!    TIA

Georgia Arms Canned Heat - full-house 10mm loads, not the wimpy factory-loaded, no-better-ballistics-than-40 S&W ammo.

You should do it.  I want one, too, as I'm interested in a low cost entry into 10mm dabbling.

one of the first glocks I had was a 10mm  glock 20.....  Great gun and I was good with it.... I sold it at the time because of the amoo issue....  that was probably back in 1992 or so....

Reload!!

Thanks to all who replied!  For a couple years I collected C&R rifles and if I saw one I wanted I could buy it.  I've got just about every C&R rifle model I want and now I'm back to handguns and can only buy 1 within a 5 business day span.  Tomorrow is the big day for this week then I'll have to wait till the next Sat

I'll check out the ammo site and then decide about the Glock 20

I can get Blazer 10mm range ammo at my local Gander Mtn pretty inexpensively and they usually have a fairly decent amount (200 to 400 rounds) on hand.  I don't it seeing that big of an issue personally, I have a harder time with 45acp.

My G20 is a sweeeet little gun.  I love that thing.  I ended up buying a G29 subbie as well and it's actually become my one favorite pistol in the bunch, with the pierce extension.  Super small, lightweight and super powerful, with trijis there is no better for me.

Get the G20 man!  You'll not regret it!

Ammo is only scarce on shelves, there's plenty out there to order.

G20 and 29 here myself :)

Who needs double-taps when you have 10mm?

I run Double Tap ammo in my G29.  I love the 29 and I'm sure you'll love the 20 if you get it.

I stopped by my dealer today and saw an OD G-20 in the LEO case.  Ran over and unfortunately it was not an SF.  Anyone know it the SF is being made in OD?

I would have picked that thing up in a minute if it was.

I just ordered 40/10 mm Dies for my reloader.  .40 cal bullets are everywhere, now if only I could find primers.

I've probably looked at that 20 a dozen times but I was at our only indoor range Fri. and the owner had a SF 21 that he had not ordered and he was getting ready to send it back to his distributor.  His price to me was $100 less than the gunstore I usually buy from and I couldn't pass it up!
I'm still considering the 20 though.  My son had a Colt Delta Elite and he had the dies.  So I'm set up to reload but I'm not sure I want to start up again.

I love my g20sf but the OEM barrel was a POS I got a KKM for it and the groups are so much tighter !

Skip the Model 20 & instead look at a Model 20SF!

The small reduction in the grip makes a huge difference between the two models.

Another vote for GA Arms 10mm ammo. Been using them for years now.

Reloading is a great way to offset the cost of ammo, in any caliber.  That's why I do it.
