Ordered a G19 through the GSSF program. The order was placed the last part of April 2011. Five months later still waiting. The store guys say this is not uncommon. Is this standard operating procedure for GSSF program guns? |
| We have stores locally that allow you to sign up for GSSF and get your gun on the spot. So I am not used to seeing you have to wait months. That seems strange to me. Ed's Public Safety has hundreds of Glocks in stock and you can get any of them under the GSSF membership (1 per year). |

gen 3 Humor me and let me see if I have this straight..... You went to a store and they had to order your Gen 3 19? Was this the discount one Glock a year or is this the voucher for a free Glock that you have to send in to Glock with an FFL? I won two vouchers for Glocks at a local GSSF match in June and I ordered a Gen 4 26 and a Gen 4 35 in July which was supposed to take 12 weeks. Word is that it will be next year before I see them, but they just charged my debit card. Apparently, they're waiting for parts from Europe, but Im surprised about the Gen 3's. Those were taking a few weeks last year. |

YOu now have to be a multi-year member or renew a one year membership. |

Yes one of the discount GSSF guns. Store has plenty of regular priced models. That sucks. Glock has a great program and they give away a lot of stuff which is very generous unlike other manufacturers. However, waiting 6 months to a year when they give a 12 week window kinda blows. Particularly, when you shell out 425 bones. Im unhappy that I paid $130, which they took out a couple days ago and my ETA is "sometime next year" "we're too busy to check". Hope you see it soon. |

Is this standard operating procedure for GSSF program guns? When i got my G19 on the program about a month ago,I just took my coupon to a GSSF participating dealer and got it right there out of his stock.Didn't have to order anything.GSSF should be able to tell you who a stocking dealer is in your area by your zip code.We have 2 in the entire state. |
| I only have one stocking dealer even remotely close to where I live. Glock has advised if I find one at another program stocking dealer to go ahead and purchase that one and inform the first dealer of my action. Not really an option, so if I want the GSSF discount I'll have to wait. |
