[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gen2 and Gen3 slide differences

I'm thinking of picking up a G20 upper but it probably a Gen 2 and my frame is a Gen 3

Anyone know what improvements were done to the upper half of glocks between Gen 2 and 3? Will a Gen 2 slide fit a Gen 3 frame?

It will fit. They are the same. Only the finish and extractor will be different. More than likely better than current Gen3. You will be GTG.
