What "IF" Glock came out with a.. Lets say call it a Gen 4 1/2  with all the features as a Gen4 ( spring, mag release etc. ) but in a RTF Frame all direct from Glock, no swapping parts or aftermarket goodies.  Would you buy it or stick with the Gen4 Frame/ platform? IMO I like the RTF texture over the Gen4 texture.

as long as it didn't have the goofy slide serrations from the RTF2.

I think Glock should have kept the 3rd Gen recoil springs though, that's the only
issue I've heard problems about.

Doesn't the RTF have a "sharper" texture?  I checked out a 4thGen G17 today and the new grip feels great.

I like the RTF2 for shooting, but it can get pretty rough on your skin and clothes.  For carry, I prefer the Gen4 RTF.

Gen 4 frame is RTF.

I like the Gen4.  It's grippy enough, but it won't destroy your clothing.

I like the Gen 3 RTF2 frames the best.  For me, it doesn't get hung up on clothing, just hurts a bit if it rubs your skin while carrying.  Easy fix––wear an undershirt.
