| I have a gen 2 g19 w/ austrian proof marks. Serial number HS4xx. I am thinking about stippling the grip and cerakoting the slide. Is there anything special about this g19 or is it like every other gen2 out there? |

I enjoy it how it is. Currently it is my carry gun. I have a vickers mag release, extended slide stop, g17 trigger assembly, truglo TFOs, and the original 2 peice recoil spring assembly in it. I have all the original parts still. I think i'll keep it and hold out for a late model gen 2.
This is my first gen 2 and i like it. I've had 3 gen 3 g19s, they are nice, but i prefer the gen 2. |
| Leave it as is, unless the grip is wearing down, I would not touch it. When the grip gets smooth and your grip purchase is not as firm as you would like, I would have it professionaly stippled by coldborecustom.com. |
