| Today at my LGS, I was told that Glock is bringing to the market Gen 3 19's with the dual recoil spring as in a Gen 4. I have searched the web and not able to find any information about the update Gen 3's Any information would be appreciated. |

As far as I know, Glock had to redesign the frame to fit the new recoil spring on the Gen 4, which is why you can't put a Gen 3 slide on a Gen 4 frame. This would essentially just be a Gen 4 Glock with a Gen 3 frame texture. |

I could see them maybe doing that like they did rtf frames in gen3. But you just can't cram a dual recoil spring into a Glock 19 without altering the frame and slide. |
