| Bought brand new a couple months ago. First range use, as expceted- completely reliable. Put a ghost trigger upgrade in and now the trigger safety seems to sticking on the frame leading to a snag in the trigger pull. Any ideas? |

It was 3.5lb disconnecter, trigger spring, firing pin spring and extractor spring sounds like there isn't enough force pushing the trigger back forward to fully reset clear of the safety. i think it happened to me when i put in the zev competition springs. it was either the striker spring or the trigger spring. make sure the trigger spring is installed in the correct direction and replace them one at a time to see which one it is. i think mine was the striker spring. |

Go back to the factory parts. Maybe it is the Glock Armorer in me, but other than night sights, a grip plug and magazine base plates I keep everything factory. You can get a factory (-) connector from eBay or even Amazon. I also got G17 smooth face triggers and extended slide stops in my Gen4 19 and Gen4 26. Oh yeah, I did get an aftermarket barrel for my 19, but I needed something threaded. Otherwise, I would have stuck with the factory barrel.
Sorry, but Ghost is shit. |

I have a ghost rocket with spring kit in my glock 27 and have the same issue. I was thinking of swaping springs to figure out the issue and maybe have the good reset again with the light pull I just put the factory striker spring back in and have positive reset with no hang up again. Might just put it all back to factory parts |

My brand new gen3 19 came with the most incredibly crisp trigger. I'm hesitant to swap to a smooth face trigger just because of how good it breaks Shouldnt it break the same as long as your not changing the springs and connector? I have no experience with it, just curious |

I used to swap all mine out for smooth triggers until I really thought about it and I realized that they're plastic serrations and I can't even feel 'em. I used to shoot 1911s with serrated face triggers and loved 'em. I shot a few with smooth triggers and loved them too. |

Post range report. After the (mostly) constructive replies, I swapped out the striker spring with the factory spring and it's good to go now. Positive reset and no snag with lighter trigger pull. Thanks for the help! Good to hear..... The striker spring can make a 100% reliable Glock into a hope this is not a light strike when I need it the most. I tinkered with it for awhile in my G34 but inevitably after a few light strikes and the trigger generally not feeling good I put it back to stock and it a sweet trigger. IMO the - connector, heavier trigger reset spring and the lighter safety plunger spring makes a damn sweet trigger. |
