What years were these made? I've been looking for one and I think I found a good deal on one I've also read there's no such thing as a 23 Gen I ?? Can you tell I'm new to Glocks?? |
Gen2 was the earliest. I have one that came in the 1st batch imported in 91, IIRC. Unfortunately a previous owner ghettoized it and ruined any value as a collectable. Once I rebuilt it shes as good as new inside and shoots great. I know it was barely shot as there was no peening on the inside rail of the slide when I purchaed it. For some reason he/she even changed out the original barrel... Some people.

GEN1 ended in 1988, and the 22/23 was introduced in January, 1990. So then the G19 would have been introduced as a GEN2 model? no, there were very few gen 1 19s made...fyi, the glock numbers 17 19 22 etc are the patent numbers..so the glock 17 was glocks 17th patent and so on and so forth.. |
