| I'm normally not one who cries wolfe, but I've decided to go ahead and get 5 high cap mags for every handgun I have and may ever want to buy. For my carry Sig 229 and HK P2000 I have 10. I just don't fully trust the dems if they control either house. |

I have 20 factory 15 round Beretta magazines, 6 LEO marked that I bought used and 4 Mecgars, totaling 30 magazines for my M9. Having this many magazines is actually practical, or atleast more practical than it seems. I can load up all of my magazines at home and have uninterupted training time. Indoor ranges charge by the hour, and if you are loading magazines you are wasting time/money. When I am not practicing, I keep the LEO marked and Mecgars loaded with BH 124grn +P Gold Dots, just in case. I also keep 5 of the factory magazines loaded for carry, the rest remain empty until they are cycled into carry duty. Thats just an example, I have several other handguns that I equip similarly. Magazines don't last forever and they are a common cause of weapon failures, so its impretive to have a supply of functional magazines. I am also motivated to buy extra magazines because of societal concerns. If you have ever seen Signs, then you will know what I am talking about Also, another ban is coming, so its wise to stock up now. I personally consider 10 magazines per gun to be an absolute minimum, if for no other reason that reloading magazines sucks and it wastes training time.
