So I just picked up a Glock 19 MOS. What have you mounted to yours? Looking at the RMR or Deltapoint Pro

I don't have the 19 MOS, but I did just get a 17 MOS last week.

I put a Deltapoint Pro with 2.5 MOA dot on mine.......I have a gun with an RMR and a T1 Micro on it as well........I'm not sure if I like the Deltapoint Pro more than the RMR yet, as I have yet to shoot my 17 MOS........I do like the extra large field of view in regard to the Deltapoint Pro.

I think changing brightness settings is more intuitive with the RMR though. With the Deltapoint Pro, you press and release the button to go up in brightness.......then to go down, you hold the button to 2 seconds, then release, and it'll go down with each button press. The RMR has + and - buttons.

Thanks. That looks awesome. I'm leaning toward the Deltapoint as I've read several reports of the RMR dimming and going out between shots. Which is strange given the dependable nature of Trijicon products.

The dimming issue has allegedly been corrected with newer RMRs........mine is serial # 170xxx and there are no issues on my Zev G19.

However, I do like the DP Pro so far.......its just that the switchology is odd. Battery replacement is awesome though!

Click a latch, and the battery comes out. So easy to replace!

There is a new gun store near by that is a GSSF authorized dealer. (I have a pistol purchase coupon)

I stopped in to see if I could order a 19MOS. They gave me the run around. The only thing they would do for me is let me pre-pay 100% and if they eventually got one in I could have it. Which would be fine if the shop was more than like 6 months old. They seem to come and go around here over night.

There is a big LE dealer that is about an hour away. I'll need to go there to try to get one.

I have a Trijicon RMR just sitting here waiting for that pistol.

I like my Insight Tech MRDS, I bought some suppressor sites for my 41 mos it looks like the sights wont cowitness I'm not sure yet (haven't installed rear site). It  seems like the mos plate raises it up too much. How good is the co witness for you folks? Does the glock mos system raise it too high?

That 17 looks sexy with a red dot my only complaint is they should not of put DP PRO on the side.  I swear some companies do not think about their phrasing.....

Lol, yea. I thought the same thing. At least it's subdued and not laser etched in big white letters.

I think the dimming issue is a non-issue as long as you use the spring plate that trijicon provides with the MOS mounting kit. The kit is like 12 bucks on amazon, and comes with the spring plate and the correct screws to mount the RMR to the MOS plate.

I picked up my 19 MOS and a Vickers grey 19 this weekend. Next saturday I'll be picking up my RMR (Rm09) and mounting it up. Can't wait!

The rm09 is the 1moa dot version, adjustable brightness. I've thought about going with a bigger dot, but honestly after looking through the optic I don't think I need a bigger dot. If any of you guys have experience with this, feel free to weigh in.

So I'm picking up my 19 MOS @ the end of the week. Just curious as to what sights I can use. Just any suppressor sights?

Depends on the optic. If an RMR, I'd go with the Trijicon suppressor sights, as they're taller than the AmeriGlo suppressor sights.

I don't think there's any suppressor sights that will co-witness with a Deltapoint Pro on an MOS currently.

I have a T1 Micro 2 MOA, an RM06 3.25 MOA, and a Deltapoint Pro 2.5 MOA, all which are mounted on different Glocks.

I think for me, 2 MOA is as small as I'd go, however,  the 3.25 MOA on my RM06 is as big as I'd go.

That is good info I am getting ready sometime this year to red dot a pistol.  I have only shot a few and really have not experienced a multitude of different dot sizes and I wondered which is best.

Is the difference in 2 - 3.25MOA have a significant difference on speed accuracy etc?

Awesome. Thanks for the info man. I was actually already looking at the Trijicon so I was on the right track.

I doubt there are any out that co-witness at this time but who knows what the future holds.

Those would be some damn tall sights though.

26 needs a MOS option.  If optic negates sight radius, why do we need a long slide?

In terms of speed? Not really. In terms of accuracy, absolutely. I have had the RM07 6.5 MOA and the RM05 9 MOA, I found that theIran dots were too big for my liking, but the 3.25 MOA is perfect......and if you want to make the dot "bigger" for acquisition speed purposes, you can just adjust the brightness higher.

It works really well. Here's a pic of my RM06 3.25 MOA on "auto adjust" mode, inside my living room with natural daylight coming thru the windows. The camera is focusing on the dot instead of the rear sight, so you can get a better idea of size.

You can make the dot bloom smaller or bigger by adjusting the brightness. The 3.25 is tiny when you turn it down to where you can still see it easily.

If it wasn't for being able to adjust brightness on the T1 Micro and Deltapoint Pro, I'd not like them.
