Hi Guys....
I bought a 100% reliable, solid, gen 3 Glock 19 from a friend. I know this gun has been used a fair bit, and its 100% reliable with the original Glock full capacity magazines. However, I'm stuck in NY state. So, I'm stuck with 10 round magazines. I bought three new, in the package Glock OEM 10 rounders. More often than not, these magazines will not feed the last round in the magazine. So I called Glock, and they immediately responded with "oh, we'll send you new, 'revised' followers". Aparently, the original G19 10 rounds followers, marked something like 2813 (I chucked the them, so I don't have them to verify) were 'not good". I replaced the original followers with the new ones from Glock. The gun doesn't have the failure to feed on the last round any longer. This is because I CANNOT GET THROUGH THE FIRST NINE ROUNDS TO EVEN GET TO THE LAST ROUND!!! Seriously, these mags are choking every third, fourth round. Bullet nose is diving down, slamming the bottom of the feed ramp and hang in up. This is all three OEM factory 10 rounders with the new revised follower sent by GLock, and its using everything from my hornady XTP 124 grn hand loads, through to Win 124 PDX, Speer 124 and 115 Gold Dot, Rem 115 JHP and virtually everything else I can find... Anyone else encounter this? I've owned and enjoyed a G27, a G23, and a G42. All were solid. Glock REALLY screwed up here. Glock Perfection my ass....... |

All three magazines were purchased new. Existing magazine springs were used, and the new replacement followers are the 9mm3 ones shipped to me by Glock customer service. These magazines MIGHT have a total of 50 rounds through all three magazines combined, mostly since I encountered about 8 failures in that first box of ammo.
Recap: Fully reliable G19 (with hi cap mags), gone totally to shit with three new G19 10 rounders (2 purchased one store, third bought elsewhere) using issue mag springs and replacement followers by Glock, Fro |
| I have had no troubles with my ten rounders ( also a prisoner to New York for now - moving next month!) did they run with hardball? Also make sure spring in in the proper way ( upside down won't work) and leave loaded for a few weeks and see what happens. Once I move out of New York I will have some 10 round mags that work great in my 19&26 I won't need anymore and can sell you at a great price! |

During the AWB G19 10 round mags with 9mm3 followers worked well for me. I'd try calling Glock again and get them to send you new mags. |
