How "destructive" is the slide and grip, will I really need to wear gloves or just man up.

Man up. I have VZ grips on my 1911 they are about the same aggressiveness as the RTF2 Glocks.

Unless you've got a skin condition of some kind RTF2 texture should not present any problems.

I guess most people point to the "scale" halfmoon slide indent on the RTF-2 guns. The one I'm looking at has em. I like the look and when fondled didn't seem to bad

Not as bad as people make it out to be. The RTF frames are great, IMO.

I just purchased a Glock 19 with the RTF finish and I can't be happier. All of my future Glock purchases will have the RTF finish.

The new rtf2 finish is great but under hard use it wears off. I've managed to rub a section of the bumps off my duty gun. It was completely smooth on that part. I'm having the frame completely stippled as a corrective measure
