NOTE:I have another thread on here about steel cased ammo coming straight back, this is NOT related, as the steel cased ammo problem was at LEAST a week before this.

Last night, I took my new (150 rounds through it) G30SF apart and polished the trigger components. When I reassembled, I was (I know I'm not really supposed to do this) hand cycling ammo through it to make sure it was working correctly. Almost every time, the slide would come back less than an  inch and hang. It took considerable force to make it extract the round. If I took the magazine out and put it back in with a round in the chamber, it would REFUSE to pull out the bullet. I took it apart and put it back together, and it continued to do this for a few rounds, but now it seems to be cycling fine... My questions are: Is it possible I assembled the extractor system wrong? I really don't see any way to do it wrong... Also, should my gun be safe to fire? I'm really not sure what could have caused this problem.

Anyone? It seems to be working fine now, but it was odd that it was doing that.
