I have ordered a Glock Gen3 34 vs the Gen4 34...I did so for a couple of reasons...
Since it is a blue label gun, it comes with a set of Glock nightsights vs. the adjustable sights on the std. 34. I currently have a Gen3 19 and a Gen4 17 . I have never had an issue with either pistol and the Gen4 17has over 500 trouble free rounds through it. I would not trade either Gock but the trigger on the 19 is less wight...I had the Gen4 trigger measured on a digital scale and it was right at 6.5 #... I know I could have changed the trigger ect on the 17 but it is for an eitirely different purpose and I did not want to turn it into a IDPA pistol which I ntend to do with the Gen 3 34 that I have ordered. I know I will have to change the tigger because the blue label gun is the 5.5 # and possibly the sights as well on the 34 but since they are night sights, I could just as easily add them to the Gen4 17. I guess I am just looking for reinforcement that I made the right choice in going with the Gen3 34 vs the Gen 4 34 |

I just came home today with a new blue label gen3 34. Got it with a GSSF coupon. It has adjustable sights, 3 mags, and a 4.5lb trigger. Not sure why mine is different than what you expect to get. The 34 trigger feels slightly lighter than my other gen3 Glocks. Have yet to shoot it. |

The GSSF dealer only had the Gen3 34 with night sights....I do not know for sure if it has the 4.5 or 5.5...trigger....
Either way, I am happy to get it and I think that the trigger is lighter on the Gen 3's than the Gen 4's. Again I could be wrong but I am sure looking forward to getting the pistol... |

The Gen4 triggers are slightly heavier than previously models. This comes from the changed geometry of certain trigger parts. Dot connectors were released to correct this issue.
All blue label guns will come with the standard weight triggers. This includes competition models that would have minus connectors otherwise. Also, don't expect to get night sights just because it is a blue label gun. Blue label 34's are available with fixed, adjustable, Glock night sights, and trijicon night sights. The prices increase respectively. If you didn't order it or pay more for them, you probably won't have them.
