| Can a extended slide stop be installed on the G36? |
| Good question. Installing an extended slide stop was the only mod that I ever made to my G36 that made it stop working properly. Once I replaced the original factory slide stop, it worked fine again and has worked flawlessly since. My advice is simply to get yourself used to the factory slide stop and you'll be fine. |

Glock doesn't make one but it sounds like some folks know how to fit one from another model. I tried an Aro-Tek on a 2003 model 36 and... jam-O-Matic. Sold it. Worst thing you could do. I bet the new model 36s are much better too. I say live with it. Sorry, I have a Glock part on my 30SF and it's nice. Smooth against the thumb riding up and solid and positive on the way down without too much bulk.

I have one on mine, don't remember where I got it or the make. It works fine, the only problem is my grip. If gripping high withe thumbs forward, I tend to push it up and lock the slide back before the mag is empty.
I would have reisntalled the factory slide stop if I could find it.
