| In the Glock picture thread, there is a photo of two Glocks with waffled plates on the front of the pistol. They wrench down onto the accessory rail and extend up. My questions are, what are they for? Jabbing at a target that gets too close? Second, where can I get one? |
| If the weapon is engaged with another person's body (hand, chest, etc.) it prevents the slide from being pushed back. A glock slide only needs to be pushed back about maybe a 1/2 inch or less for the trigger to not function. This would render the gun useless as it would not fire. |

One some semi-automatic handguns, rearward movement of the slide unlocks the action, making it impossible to discharge the weapon. These stand off's are used for close quarters action, when you may have to "press the flesh" in the process of defending yourself. The contact is with the stand off, attached to the grip frame, and the weapon will fire as normal. |
Interesting. Now if it only had another rail on the bottom so you could still mount your light...
|
i also want a rail on the bottom of my light so i can mount a bipod on it.... |
and a rail under the bipod so i can mount a bayo... |
