Anyone have any luck with these things?  I just got a new 27 and man are those new mags hard to load.  Any advice on getting this mag loader to work any better or is it just a POS.
Thanks!

I use the factory loader when it's cold (gloves) or when I want a 15rnd .40SW mag to really hold 15rnds.  Works well enough.

Might try keeping the mags loaded. That worked on my new G36 mags.

Those post ban mags are sometimes really hard to load. I have a 10 rounder for my 21 that there is NO WAY I could ever get more than 9 in. Can't tell about the loaders, I always seem to lose them before I ever get a chance to use them.

Thanks for all the advice!!
Are there any pre-ban or hicap mags that will work with the 27?

Steve- I've never used any +1s beyond suggesting you look at Glockmeister I can't really help-oh and you actually bought those mags from my buddy, Steve LaFlamm-but be sure to mention where you saw it-he's still crabbing about my shooting down the cable he hangs the steel targets off of-[>Q]

No, it's not perfect, and loading can still be a firm two-handed job, but the loader can be valuable if one's hands are wet or sweaty or slippery or somethin'.
I seldom use the thing, and if I do, then it's only for the last round or two; but it can be handy sometimes.
Sorry, no great advice on how to use the thing.

thanks again
IMHO, I think i figured it out kind of a brute force thing and pull the loader off as you feed it in, got all 9 rounds in there but it was a battle, thanks and appreciation to all who responded!

Practice. I can load up four 19 round G-22 (Scherer +4's) mags in under a minute, a little faster if I apply myself.

Klinton mags and mags for small size Glocks are a bitch to load no matter what you use.

I know of one guy who made a lever operated gizmo for his mags. It takes most of the effort out of loading but it takes longer to get the mag into the gizmo than it takes to load the mag.

I use the standard Glock mag loader with the 22c. I can load 10 in the magazine by hand but it is a pain in the butt...particularly the last round or two. With the loader ( the standard cap over the end of the mag, push down, push the round halfway in, then let up on the loader and push the round in all the way.) Liked it so much I used it with the 9mm mag for the Taurus...'cept one time not paying attention, I loaded the 40 S&Ws in the Taurus PT-111...actually fired two rounds before jamming...so PAY ATTENTION!!
