Has anyone used the Glock stock from fobus?  It looks like it wouldn't be a very stable shooting platform due to the way that it attaches to the Glock.  I wanted to hear from someone who has used one before I go buying something else I don't need.  Thanks

IF you do buy that it would have to be a SBR un less you get one of those 16inch Glock barrels for it....

First off...it's ugly as hell. Might as well duct tape a branch to your weapon.
Second of all, you'd need a SBR stamp. And it's not really worth $200 plus for that...They built it as a pistol for a reason. If you want a rifle I'd put the $200 (tax) and the cost of those awful parts into buying a nice one.
My .02.

Hmm, Fobus.  I think that should be reason enough to run.  MJD

The question still remains.... I'd be curious to hear an answer from an Actual User.

What is it like to use ?

(Not everyone cares about SBR laws and such. I know I don't)

It is perfect. Don't listen to the morons, keep in mind there are two sizes one for the compact models and one for the full sized models.  It does bring the rear sight to close to the eye for a good clear sight picture, a Red Dot scope like the Optima makes it a perfect system.

A stock on a pistol is a GREAT idea!  Now you just need a 40x scope and it will be TACTICAL!

A hand grenade with a butstock, what will they think of next?

I never have fired a Glock carbine, but the 1911 carbine I fired was fun. It did not result in better accuracy tho. My opinion:   If you had the extra $ to SBR it. Go for it. Life is short. Experiment.

There are some security organizations outside the US that use these accessories for Glock 18's to make them more controllable in auto.  That's what they're meant for.  Pretty useless on a semi-auto, IMO except for plinking fun.

GAY - GAY - GAY....

Just goes to prove --
Stamp the word "TACTICAL" or "MIL-SPEC" on a something and someone will buy it.

Save your money and go to a Handgun School/Class or more ammo and mags

It is good for what it was designed for, which is assisting in auto-fire control for the G18 and providing a more stable platform for long-range shooting.  100 yard shots from standing were fairly easy with it.
