I bought this G23 for Christmas and it has some dead night sights and I don't recognize the rear sight, does anybody know who made them originally?

50 bucks is a better deal than 57 plus shipping (6 bucks) for new sights AND a free totally rebuilt slide? Check the parts prices. The striker assembly is as expensive as the sights.
Do what you want but I'd send it in and wait a week or two for that deal. New free extractor, new free striker/firing pin? |

You cant beat that deal. |
| I look at it this way, the slide already has the updated parts and I'm not worried about getting anything upgraded, the pistol is in really excellent condition mechanically and appearance considering it is a 1990 dated pistol and Trijicon or Ameriglo are my preference anyway, I just hoped somebody recognized that sight as I have never seen a Trijicon with that profile before, but I assumed due to the sights being dead, it was a older style no longer used. |
| Those look exactly like the sights I put on my 19 today. Tru-dot. Call them. They can recharge the sights from what I was told. I did the install with a 4" x 1/4" nylon rod, a dead blow hammer and a couple of c-clamps. My vise is buried in the garage on the work bench (borderline hoarder). I had to use a brass punch at one point as well. Yes, I did bleed. Nice and bright. I got the 3 green as opposed to the two orange-one green. |

| Last I knew, Glock did not offer yellow as a option on the rear nightsight and I prefer Trijicon lamps as they are brighter than the Glock ones plus the pistol already has the parts replaced by a GSSF armorer, so there is no reason I see to send it back to Glock for sights from them and free parts because it already has new free parts in it, plus I get the slide back quicker from Trijicon (I live 2 hours away from them), versus the couple weeks it will take Glock to get it back to me and the last time I sent a slide to Trijicon a few years ago to have some night sights relamped, they sent back me a set of refurbished bases relamped, hence sort of "new" night sights, so I would rather take my chances with Trijicon this time and I appreciate the members who identified the sight for me. |

Okay. But for clarification, you wouldnt be getting your extractor and striker replaced. you would be getting a spare striker and extractor, for free. (provided you stripped your slide before sending it in). Doesnt matter how new your slide parts are, free new spares are always good. |
