I found out that if you field strip a Glock 17 and then put it back together sans guide rod and spring, the pistol doesn't want to be field stripped again. The slide just didn't want to come off That's all  |

Quoted: Did you pull the trigger? Yes, and every time I move the slide forward while pulling down on the levers on the frame, the trigger kept on resetting. After 5 mins of mucking with it I finally got the slide and barrel off. I was shooting over lunch , sort of rushed, field stripped the 17 to lube it, forgot to put the recoil spring and guide rod in place. LOL |
