Has anyone used the sight tools that you can buy from ebay? They look like they are homemade and are around $50 instead of $120. Just wondering if they are worth the money or a waste of money.

I have this one and really like it.  I've changed a couple glock and 1911 sights with it.
Here.

The rotating bolt/pusher face doesn't leave a mark on the sight?

I bought one, trying to save money. It did not work well. The thread was way too coarse to be useful, and the fit with the sight just wasn't good. I wound up buying a new MGW off of someone on ebay. The MGW worked very well. That other one was a waste of money.

Yes, I'm sure that it will. This unit looks like a less expensive version for BJ Machine 500 universal sight pusher that I had which operates in the same way and did leave marks.

The MGW tool is pretty much the standard but it's not cheap and gets really expensive if you have multiple gun platforms.

if you are looking for an inexpensive universal sight tool, I just came across this one that looks pretty decent (I have no first hand experience with it) Fisher Solutions Universal Handgun Sight Tool
