Is there a site to look up manufacture dates of my Glocks? Also I picked up a police trade in G22 a while ago. Is there anyway of finding out what department it was issued to? I was going to email Glock but thought I would ask here first. My G22 sn begins with GPP if that helps.

This is the best one I know of.

Looks like GPP is October or November of 2004.

Thanks, I'll send Glock an email and see what they say about my trade in.

Unless it was department issued, they probably don't know (as in if it went to JoeBob's Police Supply and was purchased by Officer Joe Bagodoughnuts on his own) Even if they did, might not tell you just out of etiquette for the department.

That's my thinking also. I figured I spend the five minutes and try anyway.

Have you called Glock? I just picked up a trade-in G22 this weekend. I gave Glock a call, gave them the SN, and had the date of birth in less than 3 minuets (Oct. 19, 1999). Give it a try. I didn't ask if they knew who the original customer was.
