| Anybody have one? I posted this in the 1911 forum the other day and got two responses (thanks by the way). I cant find a whole lot of reviews about them good or bad. They are a good looking gun and I was thinking I might try to find a used on on gunbroker if they are gtg. Thanks. |
| I replied to your other post. They are good guns but they are kind of expensive for what they are mine is nice but I also have a tle and besides the different trigger, magwell and ambi saftey I didn't think that there were many differences shooting them. It definetly has better trigger pull. I went for it because it had the rail and my tle didn't I bought both brand new. I like my gold combat but I wasn't really sure what made it cost so much more than a tle with a rail. The kim pro finish kind of stinks on it some people will agree and disagree with that. Everything else is fine with the gun though it works great. It broke in and now it runs through every mag. I just kind of felt like there was a lot cash for not much of an upgrade I could be wrong. I do like both of my kimbers and when ever I go shooting one or both go with me and I may even add another some day soon. The truth is if you like the way it looks and its something you really like get it. |

I have a Gold Combat II and all I have to say is that my kids will have to inherit it once I pass on! It is a phenominal pistol. I am an average pistol shot at best and I actually get bored shooting the bullseyes out of targets when I go to the range. My only regret is I purchased mine before you could get them with a tactical rail. PS I feel that I got all of the quality of a Wilson CQB, for about $800 less! |
