i bought a judge 3" cylinder in October. It fired the .410 fine ,( and fun) , but it would not cycle the 45. i contacted taurus a few times, i tried different brands of ammo, then sent it back to them.. ...a month later i got it back, it did the same thing. i called them again they said they 'adjusted' it and shot 10 rounds through it, and they said it was fine. Just for the hell of it i asked what kind of ammo, and the guy said "10 rounds of winchester .410" i said its not the freaking .410 its the 45 long colt! Guys i am no gunsmith, and i am a novice shooter but, the rim of the casing on the 45 is much fatter than the 410, there is not enough clearance between the cylinder and the "extractor wall?" -the stinking gun locks up- if i spin the cylinder i can see, with a naked eye ,that it is "out of round" AND i told them all this more than once on the phone AND i wrote a polite note in the box with my observations.. So it went back again, and guess what.......... it was returned to me with the same problem once again.. a note was in the box from them stating "Adjusted" i call and a different guy gives me shit and says its fine, it must be the ammo.. i told him i shot all kinds and it does it with all. so its back for the 3rd time.. i am actully scared to shoot it. the range where i shoot sells the shit out of these guns and they say its dangerous, and to send it back.. thanks 4 listening

Dude. Bummer. I had two Tauruses, have given them both up for reasons having nothing to do with quality. They were stellar performers, one revolver and one autopistol.
Sounds like they didn't even read your letter, or maybe it was removed and not passed to the person doing the work. Sorry to hear that. Good luck! |
