I''ve been promising myself a new toy for a while, and I've decided that I'd really like to go with a G20 in OD. However, I realize that this is sort of an oddball request, which became much more apparent after a few trips to the local places. I got a few stares and a couple "We don't get too many people looking for those..." Basically, I couldn't find anyone willing to help out too much, other than unfulfilled promises to call me if one "happened to show up." Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any place that might stock/have access to one. I do have a couple local FFLs who I've used for transfers in the past, so that shouldn't be a problem. Mods: I'm not trying to set up a defacto EE ad here or anything. Just seeing if anyone has a place they turn to when looking for an oddball kind of request. If this breaks any rules, please feel free to move/delete as you see fit. Thanks in advance... |
Not too hard to find a G20; might be difficult to find an "o.d." If the entire Glock were camo or "o.d." (doesn't look like o.d. to me), then they might have some aesthetic appeal to me. However, I just can't understand putting a black slide on a doo-doo brown frame.

i don't think it's all that odd. there are a few on gunbroker, right now. i can't say i recommend the particular dealer(s), per se, though. here's a link to one and dammit, now i want one. |
Well WhenHeavenFell, you are a sorry pecker. Not really, I came here with questions, and you jumped right up with an answer. Don't know how happy the little lady is going to be when I casually drop into conversation that I bought that Glock in the GunBroker auction... Such is life, I guess. txgp17-I just picked my Gen 2.5 G20 up at the shop I use for my transfers, along with a Gen 2.5 G27, that I got from Mark at Summit that you posted the link to. It shows very minor holster wear, but it's been cleaned spotlessly and greased well. It was taken care of very well. I've dealt with Mark too many times to keep track of now and have always been completely satisfied with what I've received. Usually, I'm pleasantly surprised with the condition. I don't know if he has any OD G20's in stock, but he's worth a shot. Either shoot him an e-mail or give him a call. |
