$275 for this gen 3 G35 a week before Helene hit. Finally back home from clearing trees and clean up for a few days. Cant wait to shoot it!

Question:

Is the lightening slide cut factory?

Nice! Yes the cutout is factory, congrats on a nice blaster!

Congrats !  You can find an Alpha Wolf 9 mm conversion barrel for them also.

You need a 357 sig barrel

Yes OEM cut

I’m a fan of the G34 & G35 as they have a nice balance

Carried a G35 a couple years for work

Especially nice for an iron sight gun since you get a slightly longer sight radius

I’d go with Dawson Precision black rear with fiber optic front.

Great deal.

I'm not a 40 guy anymore, but I would have picked that up.

That was the plan. Looking at Barstow.

Im gonna keep it 40 for now and run it in gssf matches. I've read nothing but good things about the 35 in the accuracy department

All this and I would get a KKM 9mm conversion barrel (two guns), I have had very good luck with the 3 I own. I have Dawson adjustables on all my Gen3 34 and 35's.

That's a great looking old 35, nice buy!

G34 is next!  I didn't know the cut was factory on the 35.

They had a Gen4 and the gen3 i got for the same price. The Gen4 was in a little better condition on the slide. But I swear this gun is just holster wear. I'll post pics later but upon taking slide off it seems the factory bronze/goldish looking grease stuff from the glock factory is still in the slide. There is old burned powder in on the feed ramp but the gun itself has had very little rounds through it.

Do the G34s share the same cut?

Yes, the cut out is factory.  That's a smoking deal. I wish I could find one for a similar price. I want a G35 bad. I don't understand all of the 40S&W hate. It's still one of my favorite calibers.

Do you have any recommendations for magwells and an extension?  I'm going to get a set of the recommended Dawson sights if I can afford it. As stayed a 357 sig barrel is in its future but for now it will stay 40

I used to have a G35 with a 6 inch .357 SIG barrel.

It was awesome.

Wait a minute. There's another G35 there for the same price, and you didn't buy both of them?!?!?

Yes it was a Gen 4 and I wanted the Gen 3 due to texture preference haha.

I'll go back next week and if it's still there I'll get it at that price.

Gen5 34s do not have the top slide window anymore. Not sure about Gen5 35s

Glock achieved weight savings in the slide through other means (internal machining).

Sexy gun. Ridiculous price.

I'd buy both and send one off for frame stippling.

Maybe do fixed sights on one and adjustable on the other.

That's a great deal. Can't go wrong there. I bought one years ago, I paid more than you but was still happy with what I pad and bought a 9mm aftermarket barrel. It's like 2 guns in one. I didn't swap out anything else, other than mags and it ran like a top.

Taking it out tomorrow to get familiar with it and get it ready for its first GSSF match next week. Gonna put some 180 grain fmj through it and some 135 ranger frangible and see where it's at. Might clean it before shooting. Will post pics and point out why I believe it had very little use if any!

Great price! Definitely get the other one if you can afford it.

My son has a 35 and runs a 9mm KKM barrel in it most of the time. Also added an Apex trigger shoe and new sights. Nice shooting pistol.

Shot it yesterday and its a great feeling gun!

In these before shooting it pictures you see the gun as it came. I believe this gun to be a first production G35 gun with a CWS prefix most likely taking it all the way back to 1998!  I could be wrong but it seems that someone bought the gun and just never fired it or at least cleaned it. I am thinking the reddish orange gunk is the dried factory stuff glock puts on the gun that they recommend cleaning g before shooting. Also note that the frame internals just have dust on them. Overall the gun is in great shape and shot great, better than I can currently. Will post cleanup photos later. I can definitely tell a difference in the G35/G34 factory trigger over the G17/22 factory trigger. I have a Gen3 34 on the way and a G23 Gen3 on the way to compare all of them.

I believe the scuff and marking on the slide to he from holster carry and drawing.

Looks good. It sat in a case by the looks of it and has a long life ahead of it. That's a definite score.

It's a definite laser beam so far. Really enjoy it. Might make me get a chronograph finally and see just what I'm working with.

I was running 165G Fiocchi Range Dyanmaics Turncated Cone FMJ. Will put some different loads this weekend.
