I sent my USP Compact .357Sig back to H&K with it shooting 4-6" low. They sent it back today along with a test target. H&K treated me wonderfully & answered any question I had. I've read of some horror stories about them but I'll not be one of them. Two snaps up for H&K, IMO. I'll test fire it this Sat. |

Despite my .40 shooting low, if I had to do the purchase all over again, I'd still go with my .40 USP. I've been 100% satisfied with the gun. I've read numerous post that state at short distances, < 25yards, the front dot should be placed directly over the bullseye and at longer distances, the bullseye should be placed on top of the front dot. I've found that this does hold true, although it still seems to be a bit low. For the 10 months that I've owned the gun, I've learned to compensate for this. This is my first handgun, though Ive shot many different ones so I am in no means an "expert." Alas, I do think I would shoot my USP better if the sights were set up different. FIW, I had a guy that works the range shoot it and he shot out the bullseye in 5 shots. So, maybe it's just me that shoots low with it. |

Glad to hear they treated you well too. I had to send my USP40F back once. They had it back to me in about a week. I keep hearing the stories of bad customer service, but I think most times it turns out that someone heard that their friends brothers cousins roommate had a bad dealing with HK. So everybody takes it as the gospel. |
