Sent an email to Smith that the backstrap tool for my 9c had a worn nub (don't know how else to describe it!), and inquired as to the cost of a replacement.  Didn't effect the function but it just bothered me for some reason. Reply email in two days that a new one would be sent.  Part arrived 3 days later free of charge.  Can't beat that, was impressed.

On a  side note, love the M&P.  Selling my Glock 27 to finance a M&P 9 full size.   The Glock is a good gun but never really felt right in my hand.  Also, I must be unlucky, because it jammed constantly when new.  My bud is a Glock armorer and he worked his magic and it ran great since.  Not a Glock basher, just like the M&P so much more.

I had some Gen 1 and Gen 2 glocks until I found the M&Ps which I shot better than the Glocks.  I sold off all my glocks until a friend brought me a deal too good to pass up on a couple of Gen 3's.   Now I shoot the Glocks better than the M&Ps.   Glocks and M&P's are are both good guns but I really regret selling my G27.
