| I bought a newly used Sig P229 recently and while it shoots nice, I'm having issues with the grip on the gun. As a lefty, I can't seem to get a good grip with my thumbs up high. The ridge just seems to awkwardly dig right into the joint where my thumb goes and it's quite uncomfortable. Would changing aftermarket grips help with that? |
| Basically, the way the gun curves around rightttt where the joint where your thumb starts. I noticed that my hand was getting excessively beaten up in that spot with a thumbs high grip. Didn't seem to have the same issue with a 228....could just be me bein retarded though. |

So, the "ridge" where the grips meet on the backstrap? Could sand it smooth. Question for you.... what technique do you find best for left-handed operation of a Sig? I've gotten used to using my trigger finger, but am always looking for new tips.. Edit- should specify that I'm referring to operation of the de-cocker |

FAR from and expert as I'm a new SIG owner but yeah, I just use my trigger finger. Quoted: Quoted: So, the "ridge" where the grips meet on the backstrap? Could sand it smooth.
