Purchased the LC9 for personal protection.  Lubed it and took it to the range for practice.  Not a very fun gun to shoot.  Trigger pull was rather gritty.  Wondering if this is the norm with other LC9.  Would the upgrades from Galloway Precision improve upon the trigger pull?

Yep its a long pull with a bit of grit to it.  Mine smoothed out around the 200 round mark and is decent at the 350 round mark.  Feels to me like a J-Frame lightweight pull.

I don't know about the trigger mod.  Why not shoot it a bit more and see?

It's a handy concealed carry gun, not intended to be a pleasant shooter.  That said it should smooth out a little with use, and removal of the mag disconnect may help a little too.

Thanks.  Put in about 300 rounds and still gritty.  Was at the range and tried a range neighbor's PF-9.  Pull was smooth and easy.  My new Sig and FNP 9 all had smooth pull new out of the box.  Can't get any type of accuracy around 15 yards out.
