| Thinking about trying a set of Gunners. The product description on several sites list the thickness as 1/4 inch. Is this accurate? That is quite a bit thicker than standard 1911 grips. Experience anyone? |
I have two pairs and both are standard thickness...One pair made by Rob Simonich and bought from Christine the other pair made after his death but purchased from Simonich (Strider?)...the pair made by Rob are very aggressive (I have not smoothed them) and the newer pair I bought from the original owner...he says he didn't smooth them but the "points" appear to have been slightly flattened and are not as near aggressive as the originals...the newer pair is pictured on my SiGARMS GSR Revolution STX below...
