Eurooptic has them for $819. This is really going to come down to whether you want a CCW pistol with a paddle-magazine release or not. If you have trained with that type of release (like me), it may be worth it to shell out a bit more. There have also been some scattered reports of QC issues with the CC9, so you’re also paying more for more-established QC from HK Germany over HK USA. |

Some forums had word that Scheels inadvertently got some early and put them on the shelves. That was the case at my local Scheels so I bought it. The comparison post a couple posts above is pretty spot on. Looking forward to putting it through its paces. |

| The CC9 works for me because after years of carrying a P30 or VP9 OWB I decided to carry a micro compact in my front pocket and the CC9 works great for me and it’s still 12+1.It’s so much more comfortable and easier to conceal in my front pocket-it just looks like a wallet or cellphone.I normally prefer the paddle mag but in my case I could see it catching as I inserted or pulled it out of my pocket. |

Once you add some grip tape, it becomes just as controllable as the CC9. It also conceals better with a red dot because of the lower mounting system. The sights also cowitness better than the CC9’s. It also feels a bit lighter for some reason.

Just picked mine up this afternoon, and it's a svelte little thing! And as everyone else noted, it's slicker than snot on the sides. I'll have to really think about stippling it a bit. Only put 10 rounds through it a bit ago as a basic function test. Not bad. I like the trigger but I suspect I'll like it more with use. To me it feels like it wants to run fast. |

Went to a local gun show today and saw many CC9 but only 1 VP9CC. It was $1010 cash price with the red dot. It didn't have the mag in it to get a real feel for it, but grip looked shorter and it was definitely too smooth as others have mentioned. Guess I'll hang onto the CC9, just need to try a red dot on it. |

I got to fondle a VP9CC yesterday. I don’t like the lack of grip, and I don’t like how short the trigger reach is. It may be getting into the weeds, but it feels like they knew the trigger reach could be improved so they increased the angle of the trigger to try and get ahead of it. You can kinda see this in the Handgun Hero screenshot above. I do think the VP trigger is mechanically a little better, but the CC9 trigger feels more natural and easier to use. ETA: The P365 kinda does the same thing with the trigger that the VP does. I think part of the reason I like the CC9 so much is how forward the trigger/hinge point is. Really makes it feel more like a full-size despite being far from it. I would agree with the assessment that the paddle mag release is going to be the deciding factor for most people though. I do think the VP looks better on paper while the CC is better in execution. (From my standpoint at least.) If HK Germany’s engineers had collaborated with HK USA’s guys who actually carry, we likely would have got something even better than both. |

My hand fit the CC9 almost exactly like the guy in the video. I was surprised that the grip is shorter on the VP9CC. Everyone’s hands are different so it really is subjective. But I like how the CC9 fits my hand. I’m ambivalent about the paddle mag release. For me they work and so does a button. It’s just a matter of shooting the gun regularly to get intimate with its controls. Your last sentence made me chuckle.
