So today is my B-Day...... Thank you Thank you, Big 39 and leaving for Iraq in 90 days, I decide to stop by the Gun Shop Today and take a gander.
Now I have been checking out the HK45 Series for some time, I love the looks and feel but I am still partial to my Glocks or I was........... hahahahaha They had 2 HK45C's in the case, One was New for $945.00 Out the door. and the other was Used????????? I could not believe I saw a Used HK45C in the Case, but............ It was priced at $825 out the door. I have see them a little cheaper on line used but the more I looked at it I could not see ANY signs of use at all NONE! Anyway Couldnt pass it up, Picked it up and going to Range tomorrow Damn I love the feel. Only concern was the grip, it is a little slick, Can not understand why the grip texturing is different between Full Size and "C" model but with the interchangable backstrap it sure does make for a good fitting pistol. Points natural and Damn, it feels good, Can you tell I am happy so far. I had a compact USP .45 a couple years ago and regretibly sold it. I have been meaning to pick up another . This was a total fluke stubling on this but a good one at that and makes a great B-day present to myself. Range report tomorrow.

It was a joy to shoot today, Pussycat on .45+P loads Winchester Rangers SXTs, and ball ammo. 200 rounds down range ZERO malfunctions.
Biggest problem I had was deciding which backstrap I liked best, hahahahahhahaha. Interchangable is nice but to many decisions, hahahhahaha, I added a Bike innertube as well. from 5-25 yards hitting 8" steel was almost boring it was so easy, I SAID ALMOST

Yea well everytime I get something for the kiddies I cut up the boxes for target board. Well the more I shoot this thing the more I really fall in love. The double action trigger is starting to smooth out and is starting to feel more like my SIG 228 .... a little heavier than the Sig right now but smooth. The single action is nice and crisp, but that hasnt changed since day one. Groups are tight as hell and getting better, although thats probably because I am getting used to her.
