hey guys, i got a few upgrades for my springfield 1911 gi model. i bought an ed brown match trigger, skelaton hammer and beavertail.

i tore the gun down and slid the trigger into place. it would not protrude all the way out like it should so i pulled it out. (i know i need to fit it) i can see where it is rubbing by the small rubbed spots on the trigger. how do i mitigate this? do i use sandpaper? flitz polishing compound?

as far as the other parts go i will have to get to that point and i will probably have more questions.

Either fine sandpaper(400-600 grit) on a flat surface, or a good stone will fix it right up.
