Does anyone know the story behind the P3000 and when or if it will be availible for civilian consumption?

Not sure about the story or ETA on release.

HK renamed this the P30 earlier this year. I have found no information for release to civilian market. Check out hkpro.com for pictures.

Rumor has it that HK is awaiting ATF approval. With the ATF, that could be a week, or it could be a year.

I would imagine that it would be after next year's shot show in the beginning of 2007. Most manufacturers like to show off stuff there before the release...

I am hoping it will come out as .45 ACP.

so it better, otherwise I will just get .40 SW
