I took a Surefire G2 to a training class with me a number of years ago and blew out the bulb one mag into the evening training exercise. That was unacceptable, so I stepped up to a Surefire M2 which has worked great. However, I need to get a few more flashlights around the house, in the car, the wife's purse, etc and I've been contemplating selling the M2 and buying a Fenix L1D and two of the E01. Should I throw the M2 up for sale and use the L1D as my tactical light for handgun and maybe the occasional shotgun shooting or keep the M2 and upgrade it to a Cree LED and just buy the cheaper E01 for EDC? Thoughts? |
