For me, it has to be my Kel-Tec 9mm. Does that trigger ever get better? I know the heavy pull is safety related, but it sucks!

Get a lighter spring from Wolff Springs.

No matter what you do, Wolf Springs or not, the trigger pull on the Kel Tec P11's suck bad.
No, they never get better. I owned one, sot at least 2k round thru it and sold it.

Worst trigger pull ever....my vote goes to the AMT 45 ACP backup. Literally 25lb pull on a DAO subcompact with sights similiar to a snubby .38.

worst trigger pull ever? Walther P99 military model (OD/Black with DA only 14lb trigger).

A friend's Sig 220 DA pull feels like pumice...glad it's not mine and they are not all like that.

I agree that the AMT Backups had horribly heavy pulls, which I think was because they used that to help retard slide recoil.

My personal worst is my Firestar .45, very heavy indeed and gritty too.

Any Walther except the P7.

HK double action

Berretta DAO is a close second

I'll second this.  I love the feel of the P99 but could not stand the trigger pull.

Best idea for a subcompact 9mm is a Taurus PT 111. Unfortunately, it has the worst trigger of any 9mm I own. I have dry fired this pistol till the cows came home and no improvement. The trigger pull is so bad my PT 111 shoots pie plate sized groups at 7 yards. Regards, Richard :D

Kel Tec P11 is definitely the worst.
Close second would be the HK VP70Z, followed by the CZ100.

The CZ 100 is pretty bad...my GF had an old H&R .32long or similar caliber revolver.  That damn thing felt about 25lbs...I don't see how she ever managed to shoot it...she gave it to me a while back...I sold it and put the money towards something else...THEN she told me she wanted it back lol.  I still owe her a pistol.

I would have to say the AMT Backup in 45 ACP. I think it had like a 20 lb. (no exaggeration) trigger pull if I remember correctly.

For me it has to be single actions like my 1911, or Ruger Blackhawk.  You squeeze and squeeze and you cant get the hammer back worth a damn!  You absolutley have to cock the hammer back manualy first!

Would it be this one?

i don't know if it's an honest 20 but mine is well above 15 pounds.  it's a smooth trigger, just heavy as hell.

Beretta 3032 ("Tomcat") - the worst I have ever owned or fired.

Edited to clarify:  Not the HEAVIEST, but the worst feel, operation, tactile feedback, etc.

GLOCK NY-1 trigger is the worst I have shot.  That 8.5 pound connector blows!

The worst one I've seen lately was a SIG P229 DAO for sale at my club.  It had about a 15 pound pull and then had about another 5 lb "bump" at the very end to overcome.  It was hands down the longest, hardest pull I've ever seen.  I can understand why the guy is trying to get rid of it; it must be impossible to shoot it.

no handgun i have ever owned is anywhere near as bad as a factory AR trigger...

even my glock for all its mushy spongy sproingyness, still breaks in the same place every time.
