| I need to ship a handgun to California for me an individual to an FFL. The pistol is on the state's list of approved guns and I have a copy of the dealer's FFL. Is there any other documentation or registration that is needed or am I ready to ship? Thank you for any help. |
| The only thing YOU need is verification of the FFL you are shipping to. (which you have). I would call the FFL you are shipping to and ask HIM if he needs anything else from you. He will need your name and address so he can enter it into his books. Copy of your DL is sufficient. You may X-out your actual DL# if you feel paranoid about it as he does not need that. |
